Why are you so Cold? It's been hard for me to find someone. All I really needed was to talk. I wanted someone to smile at me, like they used to. Why has everyone just forgotten about me? It doesn't make any sense. I was there for them, all of them. Even after they died, I was there. I mean, you'd think I'd get some kind of reward for what I did back then. Of course, it never came. Typical, I know. Nothing ever happens the way it's supposed to. What can a person like me do, then? After all my work, I deserve something, right? Even if it is as simple as a smile. I just want what should be mine. Why are you so Cold?

She glared at the paper as one sneers at the chain holding them to the floor. This was the last part of her, the only thing she had to leave behind. She never imagined that she could get to this point, so close to a freedom only dreamt of by the few that ever dared such dreams. She never thought that she could be sitting in her small room ready to scratch the result of all her baneful years on such a simple blank page.Restless Night
